With locations in Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and Phoenix we have many opportunities available. Standard work days are M-F, with occasional on-call after hours. This position is expected to work in excess of 40 hours per week during periods of high demand periods

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Accounting Coordinator will provide direct support to the Accounts Payable and Payroll Specialists in their respective roles.  

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years payroll experience.
  • 3-5 years accounts payable experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and Sage Intact accounting systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Paylocity payroll system is a plus.
  • Proficiency and aptitude for applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Ability to work in a multi-faceted environment requiring a high level of attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of accounting software packages.
  • Initiative-taker, flexible, have a high level of integrity.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to change priorities quickly and be action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

    Accounts Payable:

    • Coding and entering vendor invoices.
    • Matching and review of P.O. and Invoice.
    • Research and resolve any P.O. and invoice discrepancies.
    • Reconcile monthly statements.
    • Scan documents & filing.
    • Reconcile credit card statements.
    • Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment and set priorities.
    • Plan and complete work with a multitude of interruptions.
    • Ability to face unexpected, challenges throughout the day.
    • Willing to be cross trained.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Payroll (backup):

    • Review and correct field Technicians’ time for accuracy. 
    • Preparing, building, and analyzing employee data reports.
    • Review and ensure accurate computation of pay.
    • Input data from time sheets, production records, or individual timecards to computerized payroll system, including days worked, overtime earnings, date, gross pay, deductions required withholdings and net earnings.
    • Contact various department supervisors for any missed or incorrect time submitted for payroll as needed.
    • Learn and interpret company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures.

    Pay Range: $25/hr to $28/hr
